About GLOAM
Why do some LED masks cost ₹2,000 and others ₹30,000, ₹40,000 or more? And does a higher price actually mean better skincare?
That is the question GLOAM began with.
Why we started GLOAM
When our founder, Pragati Goel, started looking at LED masks, the market was full of glowing lights and endless beauty claims. Prices ran from a couple of thousand rupees to several tens of thousands, with very little explaining the difference.
We came to a simple view: what matters is not how much light a mask gives off, but understanding what that light is doing. We didn't want to make another product that just looks good on a shelf.
So we dug into the technology, read the research on different wavelengths, and set out to build something that makes sense for people here in India: an LED mask with carefully chosen wavelengths, at a price that makes LED skincare more accessible.

Have you ever wondered why some LED masks cost 2,000 and others cost 30,000, 40,000 and even more? And does a higher price actually mean better skincare? Hi, my name is Pragati, founder of GLOAM. And that is the exact question we began with when we started working on it.
Because if you look at the LED mask market, it's easy to get distracted by glowing lights and endless beauty claims. But here's the catch. It doesn't matter how much light a mask produces, it's about understanding what that light is doing.
We didn't want to create another product that simply looked good on a shelf. We wanted to dig deeper into technology, research different wavelengths and build something that makes sense for our people here in India. And that is why we created GLOAM with researched wavelengths and a focus on making LED skincare more accessible.
Why LED light for skin
Most skincare works on the surface. Light works differently: red and near-infrared light reach deeper into the skin than a cream or sheet mask can, which is why researchers have spent years studying it.
Gentle and non-invasive
No needles, no peels, no heat. You put the mask on, choose a mode and relax for 10–15 minutes.
Not UV light
The mask's LEDs work from 410 nm to 850 nm, which is visible and near-infrared light, outside the ultraviolet range that tans or burns.
Studied for decades
Researchers have been studying low-level red and near-infrared light on skin, called photobiomodulation, for decades.
Fits your routine
It works alongside the skincare you already use, at home, on your own schedule, instead of another appointment.
Read the science behind LED light, including a controlled trial and what it can and can't tell you.
What we stand for
Wavelengths, not wattage
Each mode is chosen for its wavelength, and we tell you exactly which ones the mask uses.
A fair price
We want LED skincare to be within reach, not a luxury that costs as much as a phone.
